![]() To be fair, they had to ship it over a border so that could have caused delays, but in looking at the actual ship dates a lot of the delay was on OWC’s side waiting to send it, waiting to examine it. I emailed them and they just blew me off. This time however their support sucked (IMHO) and it took forever to get the replacement. Up until this I was a huge OWC fan and have purchased several of their drives over the years and their support has always been good. I installed the replacement and it’s now fine so clearly it was the drive. ![]() 6 weeks to get the replacement where I was unable to use my machine as needed and do the CAD work I bought the Aura for. Annoyingly it took another 4 weeks to get the replacement, totalling approx. About a week later I got a ship notice saying it had been sent. I had to fight with them via email until they finally agreed to replace it with a new one. I shipped it with 3 day delivery and after 2 weeks they emailed me saying there was nothing wrong with it. I emailed OWC and they gave me an RMA and said ship it back to be replaced. ![]() I pulled the aura and re-installed the Apple SDD and all the “hardware” problems immediately went away. ![]() It was slow, all of a sudden started having weird graphics and other crashes (see my previous post on this topic). I had a second MBP and did the same update with a second aura pro and it’s was F-ed from the beginning. I updated one of my MacBook Pros and it was okay, easy install, worked great, no issues.
